The XV2 is compact and lightweight enough to fir comfortably in your pocket enabling you to have it on every shot whether you are carting or walking the course.
Downloads are unlimited from the more than 15,000 golf courses available and self mapping is very east with up to 6 additional points that can be added to each hole.  Up to 20 courses can be stored on the Sonocaddie XV2 - the rest are stored on the Stonocaddie website and are available whenever required.
The shot distance function tells you exactly how far you hit each club n your bag and the more you use this fuinction the more familiar you will become with your own game.  Confidence is boosted when you can walk up to your ball know the exact distance left to the hole or hazard and play the right club in the knowledge that your normal swing will get you there.  No more worrying about three quarter swings or trying to get more out of a club than you ordinarily can.
Distances are given to all the critical points on the hole in play.
The Sonocaddie XV2 can be used as a digital scorecard - so no more soggy scorecards on those wet days.
As you go from the green to thenext tee there is no need to do anything as the Sonocaddie XV2 automatically advances to the next hole.  No fiddling about on the tee!

Having a Sonocaddie XV2 is like having a full time caddie - only better because you know that the yardage is spot on.  Club selection is easy once you have learned from the shot distance function how far you hit each club in your bag.
You will also discover that you play your rounds a lot quicker as you no longer have to search for distance markers and then pace off and to your ball and calculate the remaining distance.  It is a big confidence booster kowing the distance needed and club to execute.
Using the Sonocaddie XV2 for the first time you could find that you improve by as much as 5 or more shots!  Unfortunately the GPS cannot do anything about your slice but you should find that you are no longer coming up short - the amateurs classic mistake.

The power source for the Sonocaddie XV2 is 3 X AAA batteries and should last you up to 16 hours which is almost 4 rounds of golf.

With 16 satellites beaming information down the Sonocaddie is extremely accurate to within 1-3 yards. That's good enough for us!
