The iGolf Neo includes the Shot Distance Function giving you exact yardages of how far you hit each club.  The more you use this function the more familiar you will become with your own game - you will learn exactly what club you need for any distance.  
The iGolf Neo cannot be used to keep score and is not able to keep statistics of fairways and greens in regulation or the number of putts per round.
Courses are downloaded from iPlay and stored in your iGolf Neo -  which stores up to 10 courses - and on your PC.  Once courses are downloaded you retain ownership of them - see details under annual membership and how it works below.

The annual membership fee allows you to download and map up to 100 courses during the year of membership. If you play more than that in a year please can you tell us what you do for a living as we would love to do the same?
Once you have downloaded courses they are stored on your own PC and they effectively "belong" to you.  What this means is that you do not need to renew your annual membership to retain your courses or to use your iGolf Neo.

The iGolf Neo provides distances from tee to  the front center and back of the green.  Further points (up to 4) can be added by you on each hole.  Knowing exactly how far you hit each club will boost your confidence as it eliminates the concern of "do I have the right club?"   The iGolf Neo can do nothing about your slice or hook but you should never be short again and will know exactly how far you need to carry the ball to clear or avoid hazards.   You will notice an improved performance in your game from the very first time you use an iGolf Neo - this could be by as much as 5 shots or more.
Using any golf GPS will also speed up your round.

Although small the Neo's screen has a 120x80 pixel resolution with a back light facility making it very easy to read under any lighting conditions.

The iGolf Neo is powered by a built in lithium battery which can be recharged either off your PC or directly off a wall socket.  At 16 hours of power the iGolf Neo has the longest lasting battery of all the models we reviewed.  It will comfortably last for up to 3 rounds of golf even if you play 5 hour rounds.

With access to 20 satellite signals the iGolf Neo is incredibly accurate to within 1-3 yards.  We have yet to find a golfer that feels this isn't accurate enough.
