As soon as you unpack your Buddy you are ready to play - straight out the box. Switch it on and it will find the course and the hole you are on.
There is no annual membership plan so all courses worldwide are available to you.
It is very easy to map your own points and you can add up to 11 per hole. Any personally mapped courses need to be forwarded to Golf Buddy for inclusion in the library.
The unit itself holds an incredible 1000 courses. This is much more than most other units we have seen and is certainly more than you will ever need.
The dynamic green view is really useful for those times (too many in our case) when you miss the fairway and are approaching from the side. The Golf Buddy Plus automatically adjusts your angle of approach and gives the new distances to the green. You are also able to move the pin on the green which will give you exact yardages to the pin location.
The Golf Buddy Plus even caters for non English speaking golfers with its multi lingual options facility.
All in all the Golf Buddy Plus is a fantastic unit for those with a budget up to $300.00 or even for those willing to spend as much as $350.00.
